PROGRAM NOTES E Tenebris, or Out of the Shadows, is a choral piece that traces the journey from loneliness to finding one’s place in the world. It conveys the feelings of emerging from a shell and changing one’s life for the better, understanding self-discovery and finding freedom from personal struggles.
